today has been the longest day of my life. It still hasn't sunk in that I am living in Barcelona but I am for the next 3 and a half months.
Everything is so different here but it is a good different. My communication teacher told me I won't realize how american I am till I get over here and she is right on.
The biggest battle so far is not speaking spanish but I'm sure I will pick it up slowly.
My first dinner together was at 10 tonight and it was clams, fish, some famous cold soup, y flan. Everything is very light here and I like it that way.
Melinda and I after dinner went on an hour walk around the city looking at all different things. The buildings, cars, shops...it's all different.
It is going to take some time getting used to it but I think I will....I have orientation in the morning and I'm looking forward to meeting new people.
Off to bed! (oh yea not to mention the bed is half the size of a twin...:) good thing I'm not over weight!!) Goodnight
